Social Responsibility
Nurture your business, your life, your world.
Everything we do is guided by our Nurture philosophy. That’s why everyone on our team is dedicated to not only strengthening customer relationships with personalized guidance and support, but to also giving back to their communities.
Uniting minds to instigate change.
Alleviating global poverty is an ambitious goal. Nonetheless, organizations such as KIVA, Heifer, and the Grameen Foundation are finding ways to synthesize microfinance, technology and human connections to creatively overcome this issue. Since 1988, Jim Cecil has served and contributed to these organizations. He also educates entrepreneurs around the world, using webinars and live seminars to explain micro-lending concepts, highlight achievements and outline goals, and encourage people to get engaged in this vital, humanitarian work.
Building stronger communities.
Eric Rabinowitz was recently awarded the Golden Vision Award for his highly successful “Our Future’s So Bright, You Gotta Wear Shades” marketing program at his local Jewish synagogue. He serves as Executive Vice President on the executive board of the East Brunswick Jewish Center, applying his strategic expertise to publicize activities and events, and to encourage local residents to join the Center’s family of 650 members. Prior to this role, Eric was a member of the Rabbi Search, acted as the Men’s Club President, and participated in the Long Range Planning, 92nd Street Y simulcast, and Purim Gala committees.
Spreading a Spirit of Hope.
The primary mission of FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered) is to support women affected by breast and ovarian cancers. Whether hereditarily at risk, close to someone who has suffered, or interested in helping others affected by the disease, women can connect with others through this non-profit organization. Barbara Pfeiffer is the Vice President of FORCE, and also serves on the Board of Directors. Her devotion to this cause extends to Annettes’ Angels, an online boutique which she launched in 2004 to sell gifts and jewelry with 50% of all proceeds going to support the efforts of FORCE.
Empowering future generations.
Nurturing relationships and nurturing little ones is top-of-mind for the Lois Bronz Children’s Center in White Plains. And Jennifer Garcia has helped to identify ways to increase community involvement and donations to the Center through the development of a comprehensive marketing plan. Based on Jennifer’s work the Lois Bronz Children’s Center awarded the Nurture Institute the 2009 Vendor of the Year Award.
